Photos, before and after refurbishing the 32ft rescue boat used prior to the vessel we presently operate. Boat was donated by the Smithsonian Institute Research Ctr.  It was built by Howard Hughes as a water taxi for the ship Glomar Explorer, which was built by Sun Ship in Eddystone. The boat was in operation by Eddystone for 3 years, and was used to tow our present vessel from Aberdeen MD. to its present home in Eddystone.
